About the event
Conflict includes a range of problems including criticism, arguments, controlling, yelling, shoving, or violence. It causes great distress for those who experience or witness it. You have the opportunity to clear 6 distressing memories of conflict. We use a research validated EMDR group protocol that is actually confidential even in a group setting. How? You will use a quiet drawing protocol (simple stick figures with crayons) to help you focus on your memories. Some may be from childhood or teen years. Some from adulthood, in the past or recent. After each clearing, you will learn a skill designed to help overcome or even prevent conflict. By clearing distress and gaining the skills of understanding, participants feel more confidence about handling the inevitable challenges of life.
