Pain of Distance - (11/17/23 & 11/18/23)

Distance is a pattern that is very common in our modern culture. It includes being ignored, or perhaps just some of the topics you want to discuss are ignored. It also includes being avoided, given the silent treatment, shunning, divorce, disown and suicidal thought or attempts. Distance is highly associated with depression.

You will have a confidential opportunity, in a group setting, to clear distressing memories related to distance. Perhaps someone abandoned you. It may have happened in childhood, teen years, or adulthood (past or present). It is possible for your issues to be confidential because you will use a simple silent drawing protocol. 

After each clearing with EMDR therapy, you will be taught a skill used by healthy, emotionally mature people to build stronger connections with many of the people in your family, workplace, neighborhood, or organization. This helps you build a tremendous support system, as you patiently make this effort for the rest of your life.

We meet outdoors on a sheltered patio. Please dress comfortably for the conditions.
